Protector GTA Type-2 Grey Tile Adhesive from RVM DRY MIX™ is an advanced, polymer-modified cementitious adhesive developed for fixing ceramic and vitrified tiles on internal floors, walls, and covered balconies. It forms a high-strength, even adhesive bed that firmly locks tiles in place and withstands everyday movement, impact, and temperature changes in interior spaces.
Designed for thin-bed installations at a recommended thickness of 3–4 mm, GTA-2 improves surface levels while reducing adhesive consumption. Its smooth, creamy consistency offers excellent spreadability and non-slip characteristics, allowing precise tile placement on both floors and walls with adequate open time of 30 minutes and adjustment time of 30 minutes.
A single 30 kg bag of Protector GTA-2 covers approximately 70–80 SFT of tiling at 3–4 mm thickness, ensuring cost-effective tiling in living rooms, bedrooms, corridors, and semi-covered balcony areas. Manufactured under stringent quality standards and conforming to IS 15477:2019, EN12004, and ISO 13007:2017, GTA-2 delivers consistent performance, reliable bonding, and clean, long-lasting tile finishes for residential and commercial interiors.
Provides high bond strength for ceramic and vitrified tiles, reducing the risk of tile debonding, hollow sounds, and cracks on internal floors, walls, and covered balcony areas.
Optimised for thin-bed laying (3–4 mm), GTA-2 ensures excellent coverage and reduced material usage, making it a cost-effective choice for medium to large interior tiling projects.
Offers up to 30 minutes open time and 30 minutes adjustability time, allowing installers more flexibility for tile placement and alignment.
Factory-controlled dry mix ensures consistent quality and precise water demand, minimising on-site errors, rework, and material wastage compared to conventional sand–cement mixes.
Requires only 4.8 – 5.2 litres of clean water per 30 kg bag to achieve a smooth, lump-free mix that spreads easily with a notched trowel, improving speed and workmanship.
Supplied in a sturdy 30 kg laminated BOPP bag, offering convenient handling on site and consistent coverage across multiple rooms and balcony areas.
Helps minimise tile movement during installation, supporting accurate alignment on walls and other vertical applications.
Ideal for tiling living rooms, bedrooms, passages, and family areas with ceramic or vitrified tiles on properly levelled internal floors.
Suitable for internal floor and wall tiling over cement screeds, plastered surfaces, and other sound cementitious substrates in dry interior environments.
Recommended for covered balconies and internal walls up to 3 m height, where a durable, weather-protected tile finish is required without direct exposure to heavy rain.
Supplied in a 30 kg laminated, moisture-resistant bag designed for safe stacking, storage, and transport.
Best before 12 months from the date of manufacture when stored in dry, damp-proof, and covered conditions in unopened bags.
Store bags in a cool, dry, and covered area, away from direct moisture and sunlight. Place on pallets and avoid direct contact with the floor to prevent lumping.
Contains cementitious binders that may cause skin irritation and eye damage on direct contact. Handle with care and avoid prolonged exposure.
Avoid inhaling dust. Wear gloves, a dust mask, and suitable eye protection while mixing and applying the adhesive. Wash hands thoroughly after handling.
If irritation occurs, wash immediately with plenty of clean water. In case of persistent irritation, especially in the eyes, seek medical attention promptly.
